Luxury Christmas tree decoration FAQ's

Q :- Where did the Christmas tree tradition originate?

Ans. The origin of the concept of the Christmas tree dates many centuries back, brought out originally by the Romans (today’s Germans). This celebration was started in America in the 18th century and now it has become the most significant ritual worldwide. However, the award to come up with this noble idea goes to the Germans. Thanks to them for making our Christmas celebrations more worthwhile with their intelligent creativity. The idea is somehow pagan but people now also relate the Christmas tree to the Winter season and New Year other than to the birth of Christ.

Q :- Why is the Christmas Tree decorated so traditionally?

Ans. This is a general fact that we usually decorate our houses whenever there is a festive or event taking place. The idea of decorating a Christmas is not just to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The reasons are manifold as it also connotes the arrival of the Winter season. To be more specific, according to the Christian teachings, the green color symbolizes life. The evergreen part of a Christmas tree represents the revival or rebirth of Christ (referring to his birthday). The other colorful additions such as stockings, gloves, and gifts remind us that it is the coldest time of the year when the gifts must be exchanged to bring about warmth and love. The dark colors add a soothing factor to the environment so the stress can be relieved. In addition, some people also like to wrap around lots of lights to eliminate darkness as it is the time of big celebrations. In simple words, people get together to share their lives before they again get busy with work and studies. A Christmas tree for Easter is also decorated the same way.

Q :- Where is the Christmas tree in NYC?

Ans. In NYC, you can spot the most beautiful Christmas tree of the year at 49th and 50th streets and 5th and 6th avenues. It is also called a Rockefeller Christmas Tree of the year where people gather to cherish the tree decorated with lots of Christmas-inspired objects and lightning, of course.

Though the Christmas tree is put up in every corner of the world, the NYC Christmas tree is famous for many reasons.

Q:- Are all Traditional Christmas trees pine trees?

Ans. For Christmas, people either go for a real tree or a completely artificial one. However, the real Christmas trees are mostly pine trees. This is because the two famous species of a Pine tree: Scotch or Virginia pines naturally tend to maintain relatively hard branches. Such branches don’t mind carrying less or more weight of anything. This makes it easy to hang ornaments on Pine Christmas trees. It has now become a tradition to use pine trees more religiously.

Q:-  Are real Christmas trees cheaper than artificial?

Ans. Yes, real Christmas trees are cheaper to purchase than artificial ones. But there is a concept of one-time investment or constant investment behind the purchasing of Christmas trees every year. Though some people love to gather nature around them and go for an original tree every time. You have to know that you will eventually have to discard the original Christmas tree because it will start deteriorating with a changing season.

On the other hand, you can secure your artificial tree for next Christmas and save some bucks. When it is the time of the year, you will find many shops near you where you can buy quite reliable and natural Christmas trees on sale.

Q:-  Which Christmas tree smells like oranges?

Ans. If you want your Christmas tree to organically smell like a citrus fruit, either lemon or orange, go for a fir tree. Any fir tree has some kind of citrus fragrance subjected to it but for an especially orange smell, buy yourself a Fir Concolor tree.

Q:- Which Christmas tree lasts the longest?

Ans. The best Christmas tree in terms of lasting durability and strongest branches is Fraser Fir. It does not weigh down no matter how heavy ornaments you put on it. In addition, it can stay alive and healthy for a pretty long time, given that it is provided with a little moisture now and then.

You certainly need to water it often but not much as it is already the winter season and the greater concentration of moisture is present in the air.

Q:- How to Install Christmas Tree Balls?

Ans. Every Ball comes with its own installation manual, you can see any of the Christmas ball installation for the rough idea.

Q:-  How many Christmas tree lights do I need?

Ans. This depends on the size and structure of your Christmas tree itself. However, to provide you with a  rough idea, a small tree can do better with just one string of light. But for a bigger tree, you will need two or three strings of light, given the size of the lights themselves.

A 6ft Christmas tree looks incomplete without the touch of lights. If you are not too fond of lights, makeshift this part by wrapping a thick red ribbon instead.

Conclusion of Christmas tree tradition origin FAQ's

Many people do end up catching a Christmas tree virus, called Pityriasis rosea, which is quite normal so don’t panic. This happens in the case of using original Christmas trees. However, to avoid this situation, do not keep the tree indoors for too long.

Keep enjoying the tradition of decorating Christmas Trees.
